A few people are meeting at the be at one cocktail bar in Balham on Monday 21st for xmas drinks. It's totally unofficial, Eddie can't dock anyone house points for non attendance.
The bar is in Ramsden Road about 5 minutes from the station, happy hour starts at five o'clock. They have a great patio there for smokers as we found on the Trenty cocktail crawl.

The website is quite informative too http://www.beatone.co.uk/balham/
Merry Christmas
So, well done to Terry player of the year for a second time and also the batsman of the year. Congratulations go to the Golding boys picking up bowler of the year (John) and fielder of the year (Paul). There are photos out there somewhere, alas the club cameraman disappeared into the night on Saturday to be sick.
Terry will be the 2010 skipper and he confirmed that Sir Rob is his wingman next season. Thanks to Ernie for a sterling job this year.
There is talk of a christmas drink, possibly December 22nd at be@1 in Balham, it has yet to be confirmed so watch this space.
We have created a Just Giving page in order that we can donate money to Cancer Research as requested by Garys family. It makes our donations transparent and also the charity benefits by claiming gift aid relief. Please pas this link on to anyone who may like to make a donation.
Gary's funeral is on Monday 14th September 2010 at 10.15am at Randalls Park Crematorium, Randalls Road, Leatherhead.
Many of us will be in Torquay that weekend but we have decided to cancel our match on the Sunday in order that we can travel home that evening and attend the funeral the following day. The rooms remain booked for all three nights and of course anyone wishing to stay for the three nights is welcome to do so.
We have our first fixture arranged for Torquay 2009. We are playing Ashburton Cricket Club on Saturday 12th September.
Its happened. Yesterday Richard "Rich T" Teasdale kicked open the hallowed doors of the Centurions Club. 101 not out, including a last ball 6. Top work. Match report to follow.
In answer to a question from next years captain I would like to confirm that Torquay is indeed "by the beach". Any other questions Terry and I will be happy to help. Don't forget to bring your pencils with you on the train so you can practice your colouring in.
Due to functionality problems the Hannibal has abandoned the other site is is now taking over the editing of this site.
NOTE FROM THE OUTGOING EDITOR
You will notice that for the first time in a few months I have actually added some content to the site. Apologies to all of you who have been waiting for tour reports, presentation pictures etc. I have began arranging fixtures for next season and am awaiting confirmation of dates when nets will commence. Details to follow. Sadly the nature of my job has changed and it is proving very difficult at the moment to dedicate the time required to keep this web site up to date. The Hannibal is going to be taking over responsibility for this site for the time being, so in future you can give him grief.
It's been emotional.
